SOUTHERN COMFORT MUSIC EXPERIENCE

The Southern Comfort Music Experience (SCMX) is taking over Atlanta this May with a FREE two day music festival incorporating food, (lifestyle) and most importantly, Unexpected Fun®. This summer SCMX will travel the country from San Diego to Philly, kicking off in Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park May 20 - 21. SCMX is a 21 and over event and will last from noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 10 p.m. on Sunday.

For 2 days Centennial Olympic Park will be transformed into a rocking festival filled with great music, great food and great spirits. The main stage will mix in some New Orleans spice with mainstream music including such bands as The Flaming Lips, Cowboy Mouth, Ozomatli, De La Soul, Big Star, Family Force 5, and the Flaming Lips. Apart from the superstar lineup SCMX will boast the all new SoCo Lime®-Light Lounge, Southern Comfort Hurricane® trailers and bars, and the best local grub.

A lasting legacy of the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, Centennial Olympic Park has become a performing-arts venue, community gathering-space and an anchor for downtown development. The Georgia World Congress Center Authority operates the 21-acre Park, as well as the Georgia Dome and Georgia World Congress Center. The three state-owned facilities are one of the largest combined sports, entertainment and convention center facilities in the world.
