Why is Centennial Olympic Park charging for Wednesday WindDown? After 16 years of free programming every Wednesday, the Park made the decision to change the program into a ticketed event. This was to cover the escalating cost associated with the production of the event. It is our goal to continue to provide attendees of the series with the best event experience possible while ensuring the series is sustainable for years to come.
How can I get tickets? Do I have purchase tickets online? Do you take credit cards? You may purchase tickets on site the day of show. The box office opens at 3:00pm every Wednesday and is located directly in front of the Fountain of Rings. Purchases with cash at the box office have no fees attached; purchases with credit card will include a convenience fee. You may purchase tickets online at Freshtix.com. Season passes can only be purchased online.
How much are tickets? How much are season passes? Tickets are $5* unless otherwise noted. Season passes are $90* and do NOT include premium shows.
What do I get with a season pass? Access to all general admission shows, early gate entry, and (1) free item per month from Googie Burger ($27.95 value total), issued via your FreshTix account. This pass does not include access to premium shows. The season pass is non-transferable and patrons must present a government-issued ID at the entry gate. Season passes can only be purchased online on FreshTix.com.
Why are some shows more expensive than others? What is a premium show? A few times during the season, we will offer a premium show— we will have national touring talent take the stage that night. Tickets for those shows will be $10 and will not be valid under a season pass.
I am a member of the media. How can I get credentialed to cover Wednesday WindDown? Information about media credentialing can be found here.
Why can I no longer bring my large cooler? What can I bring? Will I be able to purchase food and beverage onsite? To cut down on waiting times to get into the venue, we are implementing a standard size for the coolers, while still allowing attendees to bring food. You may bring one soft sided cooler that is 13″Lx11″Wx13″H with food along with one (1) sealed plastic bottle of water per person. That means if there are 3 people attending Wednesday WindDown together, they each can bring a bottle of water and a cooler. A variety of food and beverage will be available throughout the event, including a full bar, Googie Burger, Metro-City Dogs, and other vendors. Food can be purchased the duration of the event.
How early can I come? Can I save my spot? Gates open at 4:00pm, and there is no re-entry. We will not allow patrons to save spots and cannot be responsible for items left unattended.
Can I bring my kids? Guests of all ages are welcome. However, children over 33” must have a ticket. Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Is the event ADA accessible? Yes.
Are tickets refundable in case of rain or other circumstances? Refunds will only be given during cancelled shows or in an instance of inclement weather. Season Pass holders do not receive refunds.
Why can’t I bring my table? In order to give every patron the best experience possible, tables are now a part of our prohibited items list. Please see entire list of prohibited items at our website at centennialpark.com.
Can I bring in a bag or backpack? Bags or backpacks larger than 11”L x 8”W x 17”H are NOT permitted.
