To do that, we need healthier adults, more active children and stronger survivors. The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association’s mission in action! Celebrating our 28th year, the Atlanta Heart Walk promotes physical activity and heart-healthy living in a fun, family environment. With a goal of raising $2,500,000, the Heart Walk funds vital research, education campaigns, healthcare quality improvement programs and much more right here in our local community. The Metro Atlanta Heart Walk is a 5K (3.1 miles) walk, starting in Centennial Olympic Park, weaving through downtown Atlanta and ending back at the park and also features an easier 1-mile Survivor route.
